Aserri County is one of 20 counties comprising the Metropolitan Area of the San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica.
The neighborhood of Aserri Costa Rica is primarily a rural farming
community, growing coffee, plantain and sugar cane.
Aserri's claim to fame seems to be the pork cracklings eatery in Altos de
Tarbaca, Aserri. Tourist attractions include horseback riding tours through
the Tarbaca Mountains north of San Jose.
