Belen, bordered by the Rio Virilla, is just north of the famous Escazu and Santa Ana suburbs of San Jose.
San Antonio de Belen is the municipalidad city, and is quickly becoming an
expensive suburb with gated community developments and home construction.
Several country inns, aparthotels, small hotels and hostels are available,
offering vacation travelers lodging within a short distance near the main
airport. Nearby tourist activities include golfing at the Cariari Country
Club Golf Course.
San Antonio de Belen is centrally located near all
