Bagaces Costa Rica
The town of Bagaces lies along the Inter-American highway just south
of Liberia. There are many small rural roads leading up into the
Guanacaste
Mountains, and one of the main attractions is the Miravalles Volcano
region.
Tourists flock to the area to enjoy lakes and creeks, mineral spas and
hot springs of Miravalles.
To
the south of Bagaces, you will find the Palo Verde National Park and
the
Lomas de Barbudal Biological Station. Birdwatching, nature hiking,
camping
and mountain biking are favorite activities in the area.
